Reading and writing the file

Hi,

I am using xilinx9.1 . I am reading the 16 bit data from the RAM . I
collect 48 bits of data and then serial the data out. I need to
stimulate the code without using the RAM . So, I need to read the file
which contains RAM data and also need to write the file which contains
the serial data out with clock and latch signal. Can anybody adivce me
that how to do it?
