RCA TV Model F27636BC video input doesn't work.

I got an old tv today, it's an RCA F27636BC
chassis #CTC187AB) and everything seems to work
fine except the video in. For me that's the most
important feature because I want to connect it to
the computer and VCR.

I went to the menu and set the VCR channel as
03 and added that channel to the channel memory.

When I switched to channel 3 and tried different
video sources plugged into the video in of the tv
(camcorder output that was playing and working on
another monitor, VCR that was playing and working
on another monitor) nothing shows up, just 'snow'.

Any ideas?

Do a diagnosis first:
Snowing means u're still in tuner mode. Use the input button on a RCA
remote (any) or decent unviseral remote even RCA, All in one or
Philips. Or manually select input via front panel through user menu.

Once you confirm video input is good, proceed to next step, reassign a
number that is not USED by tuner for video 1 input. That's usually 92
by default. Not "03".

Pick up an RCA brand remote at RS, and push the "input" button on it, that will
access the video jacks in the rear. If you are using a generic remote,
selecting channel "00" will usually get you in as well.
