RCA TV/DVD Replacement Board

I have an RCA TV/DVD combo system that was dropped and cracked the main pcb.
There are about 30 runs that are broken. Instead of patching it, I was
wondering if there is a place where I can get a new board from. The DVD is
salvageable and the flat screen tube is good. Just a broke board.

Either have the board repaired or junk the set. Replacement board costs
will approach or exceed the cost of a new unit. If you could get a new
board cheaply you will still have to have a tech align the board to the CRT
and yoke.
At the very least you should TAKE it to a repair shop for a repair cost
estimate so you can make an intelligent repair decision with facts instead
of internet or telephone guesses. Depending on the nature and location of
the broken pcb traces the repair may be economical..... TAKE it to a shop.

Just patch the board back together. I have found one of the best materials
to use for jumping small traces is Kynar insulated wire wrap wire, like you
get at radio shack. That stuff is easy to handle, and the heat of the
soldering iron will melt the insulation, so you don't even have to strip it.
Just wipe the insulation back at your connection point with the iron tip,
then solder! with only 30 traces or so broken, it shouldn't take more than
an hour or so to fix.

Yeah that's what I do too, but I strip the wire first, keeps the soldering
iron tip from getting so gunked up. Be sure the glue the board first so it
has structural strength.
