I would like to know if i can take the mainboard out of the set and repair
it to get the output voltages from the T1 tranformer without all the other
modules being connected. Or do I have to leave it all connected to repair
the set. The problem is no output voltages , won't turn on(dead set).

The whole light box must be together in order to repair it. You could have
a dead set from lots of different sources, including corrupted eeprom, most
likely the set has crt coolant contamination from a leak or conductive glue
under a component on the clock or data lines. The latter failure really
needs someone trained on that chassis with lots of experience to know the
most common points to check, or a good 4 channel or greater DSO.

Yes, the mainboard will power up the SMPS when AC is applied, but you don't
need to remove it. Just loosen up some wiring, and the board will slide back
and tilt up exposing the bottom of the board.
