Hi all,
a while back I succeeded in getting this set to work (thanks Bill Jr for
your help!), but I'm still having a problem with pincushion. The picture is
stretched out horizontally too far at all corners and is hourglass shape.

I already replaced the following parts:

C4401 206010 .0174uf HP 1.6 Kv
C4402 200149 .056uf J 400 volt
C4403 205191 .58uf 250 volt
CR4401 198596 Diode
CR4402 164589 Diode
Q4401 200167 (used NTE 2365 here)

Except for the transistor, all parts are RCA replacements. Is there
anything else that I might have missed? The original problem was blown HOT,
and one of the caps was bulged (don't remember which). Any help would be
greatly appreciated!

Likely the PIN modulator is shorted. It's a suprisingly small transistor
compared to most PIN modulators. Certain versions have it on a seperate board
instead of the main chassis.

JURB

Jeff hit it right on the head.
Should be Q4802 (200168) or Q4803 (146847) I can't remember which off hand.
When I can't remember these I usually order both

Good Luck,
Bill Jr
