RCA CTC203ch1 No Vertical

Hope someone out there has any tips on this. The unit came in
with absolutely no vertical sweep. The horizontal line has also shrunk
in from each side by two inches. There is audio. R14509, 300-ohm, in
the 13v+ source, runs very hot and is discolored. I replaced CR14704
in the 13v+ source and U14501 vertical output chip. No improvement at
all. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Check for high ESR caps in the vertical def amp, and also in the power
supply to start with. Defective caps are common in many of these sets.
