RCA CTC187CJ Service Menu

How does one enter the service menu on a CTC187CJ RCA tv. I've not worked
on one before and I need to do an alignment.

You follow the alignment procedure in the service manual for that specific
variation of the ctc187 chassis.

The repair faq has the basics of getting into the service menu, from there
you will need to do the alignments per the service manual, especially the
stereo decoder, agc, and tuner alignments. Those are all very critical
alignments and require pretty good precision of the alignment.
