Hello,
we are designing a LIDAR system and would like to find out if ICs exist that
generate the reference and compare it to the returned signal ? We will
probably use continuous wave, LED transmission, photodiode receiver, and use
phase comparison to estimate time of flight. We are looking for a max. range
of about 1 Km, and very good stability and S/N (i.e., hopefully determined by
the S/N set at the photodiode, we have a very good pre-amp design). 1Km =>
about 7usec round trip time and we might use a reference frequency of about
100 KHz.
Thank you,
