Quick question, may I instantiate a module in a function?

I have a function for multiplier wrapper, but I need to replace the
multipler (*) with a
core_gen multiplier for FPGA, but I don't want to recode the wrapper...

May I instantiate it in a function?

forget it, i transformed the funtion into a module instead...
