Hi,

Could anyone teach me the following?

What are the popular thicknesses of PCB?
I know 1.6mm is the most popular only

What are the popular surface platings of PCB?
I know gold only.

What are the popular materials of PCB?
I know FR4 only.

I ask them because I want to do a web page about PCB.

Thanks!

Why are you so eager to teach something you know so little about?

Better just to offer web links to more accurate info.

It's also an increasingly cluttered and mis-informative medium.

Available white papers:

If the original poster subscribes to the IPC e-mail forum, he can get
access to more info from other interested co-respondents. There is
also a considerable archive of past correspondence that is searchable.
