Is it possible to use a "normal" 300W PC power supply to recharge a
12v 7ah lead acid battery. If so, I need some help with the interface
between the 300w power supply and the + and - terminals of the
battery. Thanks

Yes but go here

20power_20supply.htm

To charge the battery you need about 14volts so some modification of the PSU
is required for efficient operation.

How are you going to implement current limiting in the case of a
severely discharged battery?
