Question on Symbol Selection Box

Dear All,

At the moment, I'm making a schematic generator. And I want to
generate the schematic by adding symbols in the schematic cellview. In
doing so, I need to get the size of symbol such that I could tile them
correctly. But the problem is that I couldn't get the size of symbol.
And it seems that the symbol selection box is useless as I couldn't
get any data from it. Also, the symbol's bounding box doesn't fit the
size. So how could I get the size of the symbol??

Any help would be very appreciated!

try finding a shape in the symbol on the layer "instance".
this is the red box that defines the symbol's extent.
