It's a Sure 0-20V DC DPM I got intending to use it to monitor my
camper battery voltage. I got it working correctly now. It only needs
12V unregulated power, the 5 volt regulator is internal. However, it
won't do what I want it to do---- that is, monitor the 12 v
power/voltage which is also powering the DPM. Is there some circuit I
can build to isolate the power source, or the input voltage source? I
suppose I could do this by using a 12V AC to 12V DC power "bug" to
supply power to the DPM, but there are times when I will not want to
run an inverter.Thanks, Geronimo
