question on cadence

Hi, all:

i find in cadence simulation, for transistor, vdsat doesn't equal
vgs-vth. does anybody know how the vdsat is defined in cadence?

This all depends on the device model being used; I suspect you're talking about
bsim3v3 or bsim4. You should look at the device model equations in the
documentation to find out it is done for the particular model you're using.

Note, this isn't a Cadence problem, but a feature of the model you're using.
spectre only shows what the model is supposed to show...
