Hello,

Could someone please help me. I'll wanting to change the

Working at these voltages is crazy. I don't know of any semis you can build a
chopper with that will survive. If you just need a HV AC supply for a
different application, locate a flyback or complete TV from the 70s that uses
an external tripler. These output AC, but in the 8KV range. If you need more,
than tube TVs from the 60s or 70s used flybacks that ran about 25KV AC.

Another option is to build a Tesla coil yourself. Lots of plans on the net to
build one, you just need to be careful.

Ummm...I would think that would be impractical (trying to imagine
a 15KV dynamotor).

What is the application? What MA is needed?

Have you thougt of using a coil from a car ignition?
12 AC into it might work for you.
