Question about layers definition in Assura deck

Hello,

In DF2 layers definition in an Assura deck I have, there's some layers
been assigned as:
layer_name= extractCellLayer( original_layer excludeCell("....some
text....") )

and after the layer definition section, an errorlayer is called with
one of these layers, what does that mean?

And if I need to have GDS layers defined in this Assrua deck, can I
get them from DF2 layers definition directly (provided that I have
layer numbers pairs)?

Will I need to use extractCellLayer( ) function in the GDS layers
definition?
