\"Quality\" slip-on M-F F-connector couplers...

I bought a batch (100 ct) of slip-on M-F F-connector couplers.
I.e., the goal being to make it easier to rewire a \"patch panel\"
than to have to unscrew traditional connectors.

They were shit. Attach to connector end of cable and the
\"guts\" of the coupler pop out the other end!

So, I\'m in the market for better quality devices that won\'t set
me back an arm and a leg (\"rewiring\" isn\'t a high frequency
activity so not worth gobs of money -- but, you should be
able to get at least *one* use out of said couplers! :< )

Right angle couplers are built different and shouldn\'t suffer
this problem. But, my connection points are too close together
to accommodate the couplers and cables running off *into*
their neighboring connection points.

I need ~100 so I\'m not keen on spending, e.g., $10/per...

F is the cheapest and worst coax connector ever. Why not use BNCs or
SMBs?

75 ohm F connectors are the best for out/indoor video distribution when
torqued properly to be gas-tight to prevent corrosion. That\'s why they
are used. Indoors the %RH may not warrant the need to torque them this
tight.

This is an indoor application. I\'m just routing \"drops\" from
distribution amplifiers. \"In general\", the cables are mated to
their respective distribution amps and then \"forgotten\".

Until someone decides to \"rearrange furnishings\", which may
necessitate a reshuffling of what-goes-where.

The location is difficult to access -- the connections are made
at (outstretched) arm\'s length (house was built before this sort
of thing was addressed :< ). So, securing the \"nuts\" is tedious.
Doubly so for terminators -- which, WHEN (not *if*) you drop them
are \"lost forever\".

[I may opt to just mount the terminators on slip-ons and leave
the cables with traditional connectors as you can\'t easily \"lose\"
a cable if it slips off the mating connection while fastening]

OK, thanks. I see prices all over the map -- $1 to $5.

Maybe try to collar the local cable installer and see what might
\"fall off his truck\"... (I suspect they would use quality parts
if only to cut down on nuisance service calls from excessive
loss in a connection)

[OTOH, they likely have boatloads of signal (I\'m dealing with OTA)
and maybe any-old-thing would suffice?]
