Any ideas how I might go about doing something like this?
Optoisolation a good idea?

Schematics anyone?

Well here are another two questions. Which car, which ecu? I've seen ones
for a commodore VN. I am sure there are others but that was all I was
interested in.

All I really want at this stage is voltage level conversion.
