Put a fake email address to avoid spam

If you have Outlook Express you can right-click your newsgroup root and select properties, then enter in fake email addresses. I foolishly used my real one during the first few days I was on and now I have so much spam I will have to change it. I just thought I would give a friendly tip to fellow computer users.

If you use OE you can also just change the address to a Yahoo or other free
E-Mail address. They have filters to control the spam, and you can still get
E-Mail you want. Plus if it gets too much you can just make up a new account
and use that for a while.
