The classic is...

"Spice, A Guide to Circuit Simulation & Analysis Using PSpice"
Paul W. Tuinenga
Prentice Hall
ISBN 0-13-158775-7

Paul is the originator of MicroSim PSpice.

I'm surprised that he still appears relatively young:

Have you ever met him, Jim?

He looks only slightly younger than me ;-)

Charlie Edmondson would probably know his age.

Have you ever met him, Jim?
No.

That's the one that rose to the top of the search as well
(another of your posts).

Hi Jim,
No, only met him once. He pre-dates me a little...

These days Cadence is probably afraid he'll show up at their doorstep with a
sawed-off shotgun for what they've done to PSpice. :)

(Not PSpice-specific, but ORCAD related: Our IT guy called Cadence the other
day to discuss whether or not it would ever be able to be installed in
c:\program files... their response was that, while it pretty much works fine
if you place it there, there are some known bugs such as incorrect netlists
being generated -- hence the default install to the root directory. They said
it was due to "legacy UNIX code" and that it probably wouldn't be fixed in the
near future. Sheesh... Spaces in file names have only been around on PCs for
a little over a decade now, you know?)

Hi
I got the book and try to use it as an example for ORCAD(Pspice), it
seems the book is not relative to the software at all. It talked
something about how to change the content of file, I even do not know
which file they are talking about, of course I do not know how to do
simulation on the book, can you give me some suggestions?
Thanks
