psion series 5 pda

[Aneuploidy]

i have a psion series 5 pda and i am haveing problems with the backup power.
the backup power was working before but not anymore. it takes a lithium 2032
battery. any ideas ?
also the glass for the touch screen was broken and has been taken out..
what can i put in to replace glass ? would perspex work ?

Probably not, the original glass may have had some kind of conductive layer on in, as iit was a touchscreen
