Problem with export image option in virtuoso

Dear all,

I am facing one problem when I am trying to save the image in png format using the export image option in virtuoso.

The first image is saved properly in a new folder. If I try to save another image in this folder, although it will be saved, but not visible in the folder. If I try to save the image again with same name and in the same location, it says the file already exist. It is still not visible if the file is overwritten, If I save the same file in some other folder (one level up or down), it works. But the new folder, where the last image was saved, starts behaving the same.

Do any one else has faced this issue?

You say it's not visible. Not visible in what tool? (using "ls", using a
file browser such as "dolphin", using the browser that appears when you
are selecting the output file name in the export image file - which?)

Hi Andrew,

I checked the file using "ls" in the terminal, using konqueror (browser) and also saved the file in a unix account which I can browse through the windows. The file is not visible in any case.

If I try to save the figure in the same location with the same name, it gives me warning to overwrite but still nothing gets saved.


I am facing this issue only in the "export image" option in the schematic view
and not in the save image option in the VIVA.
