problem with autolayout

Dear All,

I am new to Layout automation and trying to use autolayout facility in
Cadence via FloorPlan.
I did Floorplan ~> hierarchy browser

and then Utilities~> Environment

I get the following message

*WARNING* No symbolic pin cell view in library (tech_lib)
*WARNING* hiCreateCyclicField: value must be within the choice list.
Setting to first choice.

*WARNING* hiCreateCyclicField: value list is nil

form adpbrEnvForm.
*WARNING* hiInstantiateForm: field instantiation ABANDONED
*WARNING* hiDisplayForm: bad form instantiation; NO form created

I get the first line of the same message when I tried : hierarchy~>
properties~>set master

Can someone please suggest how to address this issue?
