Dear All,

We installed Assura software based on installation guide and we
followed those steps. Unfortunately, when we run Layout XL, we could
not see the Assura menu and there are some warnings as following:

Load shared object file /apps/edatools/cadence/assura/tools.sun4v/
assura/lib/libavview.so
*WARNING* dlopen: /apps/edatools/cadence/assura/tools.sun4v/assura/lib/
libavview.so: .so.1: /apps/edatools/cadence/psc_ic5141/tools.sun4v/
dfII/bin/icfb.exe: fatal: relocation error: file /apps/edatools/
cadence/assura/tools.sun4v/assura/lib/libavview.so: symbol
layersDefinePen: referenced symbol not found
*WARNING* Failed to open shared object file /apps/edatools/cadence/
assura/tools.sun4v/assura/lib/libavview.so
*WARNING* Assura has not been installed in this hierarchy.

We are using Solaris machine. we checked all paths and everyting is
correct.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers,

Hi,

please check if you installed the correct Assura version for your IC
version. If you are working with IC5x you need to make sure to pick up
the CDBA Assura. If you Have IC6x you need the OA Assura version.
You probably try to run IC5x with Assura OA.

There you go.
Carefully check the 'assura-v' output and you will see "IC6.1.3". Now
reread my first reply. You need a different Assura Version.

Marc
