Problem Solved: Sony SLV-686HF Won't Rewind

Sony SLV-686HF won't rewind.
Error message Lh 16m 02s on regular rewind, Lh 07m 02s on High Speed
Rewind.
Cause: Bad IR sensor on left (supply) spool, located on circuit board
below the mechanism.
