Hi,

I'm trying to perform a MonteCarlo simulation which is controlled by
input.scs only. I have faced few problems
1) I have given 1000 runs but after 100-150 runs its fails to store
data in file "mcdata" and "mcdata.iter" , while simulation is still
running continuously.

2) When i run it through GUI and giving first run = 150, then i
expected that it would start my run from run no. 151, but it is giving
message as " skipping runs 1- 150 " , but actually not skipping the
simulation but only skipping to store it in file.So any way i am
waiting to complete the first 150 runs to see the result of my 151th
run then what is the use of first run option?

Could someone give me a hint on what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks.

Not seen this before. What version are you using?

If it says it is skipping, I doubt very much whether the simulation is really
running for those points. However, there is a known problem where it can take
quite a while with a large circuit to get to do that skipping... which is being
worked on right now. Are you sure it's actually simulating the points it is
skipping? If it is, I've never seen that before.

Andrew.
