beginner im not quite sure what kind of power

These power amplifiers do not usually need anything fancy in the way
of a supply. You need a transformer with a center tapped secondary
(somewhere around 48 volts total) (or two 24 volt windings you hook in
series) rated for a few amps. Add a bridge rectifier across the whole
secondary and a couple big capacitors (10,000 to 20,000 uf, @ 50
volts), each connected to one of the bridge DC outputs and the other
end to the center tap. Ground the center tap. Don't forget to put a
fuse in the primary. This will provide about + and - 33 volts.

This sort of transformer comes up on ebay quite often. Shipping can
be steep, though.
