What harm comes from leaving a "power pak" plugged in when it's not in use?
(ie. the poweer pak to run speakers when the speakers are not on)

No harm to 'it' but the "authorities" condem the practice since a few
million of them around the place use up power and thus contribute to
pollution and efficiency etc etc.
