Can anyone tell me how to correctly wire a potentiometer to control the
volume of speakers?
I have 4 speakers. I have them coming out of a regular old stereo. 2 go to
one office and 2 go to the other. I'd like to be able to control the volume
of the 2 going to the other office by putting a potentiometer before the
speakers going to the second office. The one that the radio shack guy told
me was right looks kinda like this:
2 rows of 3 pins on one side
- -
- -
- -
and 2 rows of just 1 pin on the other side
- -
I'm trying real hard to keep the stereo effect too.
I know this isn't very clear but hopefully someone will be able to decipher
what I mean.
Thanks in advance
