Hi All,
I need the ops/service manual for either a
Sony BVH-500 or RCA TH-50A (which Sony made...they are the same unit,
different name plate) portable 1" vtr (circa late '70's). I also need
the same for a Concord B/W 1/2" R/R vtr #vtr-820 (early '70's). Please
email me in addition to posting here. Thank
you for your help, Rick.

Ken

Hi Ken,
Yes, it's 1", C format, Sony Omega wrap. Hope you can help :) Rick.

Durn I've only seen two of those in my life... because
you didn't mention reel to reel on that one I was
hoping it was a typo; really meant the 3/4 inch
u-matic.

If that had been the case, I could've helped -
there's even an old machine (VP something, maybe
vp-2000?) up in the rafters in the garage.

Take care.

Hi Ken,
Thanks for tryin' :) Just to clarify, all VTRS listed in my post are
reel to reel types. Sorry for any confusion, Rick.
