Does anyone else get annoyed at the number of reference books on electronics
that are chock full of simple errors ? I find many books seem to be rushed
onto the market without being proof read beforehand. You'll see plain
obvious mistakes like voltage polarity the wrong way round, wrong numbers
used to identify figures and tables, illogical logic statements and worst of
all - text that stops halfway through a sentence at the bottom of a page
with a new chapter beginning on the next ! Could it be that publishers cut
costs by using some Microsoft spill checka ( sorry, spell checker ) and
think thats good enough ? Girlie magazines have fewer errors......so I've
heard.
