Hi, I realise this isn't the best way to go about doing this but it's my last
resort and I don't know where else to go. If you're a an open-minded generous
person please read on, otherwise you'll probably find this to be a waste of
your time. But if you do read on, please read everything before judging me and
my aunt
My name is Angela and I'm 20 years old. I don't want to make this sound like a
story because it's not so I'm just going to say it straight out. Me and my aunt
Michelle are in a situation that is very humiliating, so it's come to this. I
currently attend a local university part time while taking care of my aunt the
rest of the time. Last year just after christmas she was diagnosed with cancer
in her stomach which extends down into her leg paralyzing her. Her being the
only family I have, and vice versa, naturally i grew up loving her like a
mother. Her situation has only gotten worse as the doctors have told us that
she's recieved her last radiation / chemo treatments. They were unproductive.
In short, the time she has left to live could be upto 6 months the doctors said,
and so I'm taking care of her at home for her comfort and mine. I just can't
bear leaving her her in a hospital to die... it's unloving, and inhumain in my
opinion. But as I was going to get to, myself being in school a few hours a week
and taking care of her the rest of the time has left a huge strain on us
financially. The time I do get to goto school is quite lucky and I owe it to the
volunteer nurse that comes to spend some time with her when she can. Even with
the great medical funding system we have here it's very hard as most of the
perscription drugs she's taking arent covered by medicare. Also, the government
welfare program isnt helping us out very much. Between her medication, the rent,
and food we are struggling unbelievably. I'm not proud to be doing this, but I
am asking anyone out there who reads this for any donation possible if they can
afford it. Even if it's only a cent or a couple of dollars, you can't imagin
how valuable it would be to our situation nor how very greatful I'd be. My aunt
doesnt know I've resorted to this and I don't want to tell her and give her more
to worry or stress out about... I just want her to live whatever time she has
left with dignity and peacfully. So as I said, if anyone is in the position to
help us out i so greatly thank you and I will keep you in my prayers and
thoughts. I would give out my address and or phone number for people to send
the money to or call if they needed that peace of mind but I honestly don't
my aunt worrying or getting the wrong idea, so in place of those 2 options I've
setup a paypal account. I'm not really sure how it works but I'm reading up on
it. I don't have a creditcard so I can't verify it, even though I don't know
if being verified with them does anything for me. In anycase, for those with
kind intentians that can help us, my paypal account email is
cents is what you can afford to spare.
My greatest thanks and gratitude,
