Play Station Power Supply, R106

Hello,

My son's Play Station quit working. R106 is open. Perhaps it is used
as a fuse. It connects to the negative side of the rectifiers diodes.

Does anyone have a schematic?

Any idea of what would cause resistor R106 to burn open?

The unit is a play station and the power supply board is marked SR679,
1-468-218-21.
