Can any one please tell me where I can buy a Pic Programmer, Australia
Perth.

Specially programing the 8 pin chips and upwards, pic 12 series to pic 18
series plus the programming software as well.

I`am not looking for a kit, one that is already made up.

Thanks Craig

Craig, Mike at Worldwide in Kensington (9367 6330) sells the Warp-13 pic
programmer for about $187 inc GST. I don't know its capacity or features. I
use a picstart+ that I got thru' Arrow or Hartec years ago for about $300. I
like the PS+ as it is easy to upgrade using Microchip's firmware and works
with MPLAB. Other programmers may also have these features.

Hi,

I use the Warp-13a. It recently had an upgrade (cermic resonator from 4
MHz to 20 MHz and difference firmware) to handle later PICs (like the
16F877A. It can do the 12 and 16 but not the 18 series PICs.

Look on the newfound electronic web site http://newfoundelectronics.com/
for details.

It comes assembled and works well. It is also compatible with MPLAB.

I hate to knock a small business but I have had some very
bad support experiences from Newfound in the past. If you
decide to buy their product (and I'll not buy anything else
from them) I would suggest you buy through Dontronics, at
least Don will do his level best to ensure you get good
service.
