I can seam to find any review on PhoneMate brand (made by Casio or TT
Systems) of 2.4ghz cordless phone. There are two models, pmp3850 and
pmp3815 (refurbished). XS Cargo also caries Uniden (a better brand) but
they all have ni-cad batteries. The phonemate has ni-Mh (which has no
memory). Anyone have any experience with the Phonemate brand?

I don't know, but why not buy a new cordless phone? You can find them
for around $20 at any decent big box store.

Phonemate used to make good answering machines. Refurbished stuff scares
me & for a few dollars more you can get a new one right in your hometown
without ordering. I would stick with Uniden. I've owned a few & they
hold up great.
Also try a Google search.

Stay with the Panasonic, Sony, or Sanyo phones. These would be the
best in the industry for the cost, from what I have experienced and
seen.
