Hi,
Can anyone help me with a phone-line timer switch to cut the line at night ?
It's a cordless unit, but I don't want to cut its mains power - as it resets
the time and date.
Kind thanks

Probably the easiest thing to do would be to buy a programmable timer
with relay contact outputs and then use those contacts to break tip or
ring where it enters your phone.

Take a piece of stout paper, and a bold marking pen.

Write the words, "Unplug the phone" on the card, and put it on your
nightstand.

Obey.

Voila!

No problem with that.
It's just the "Obey" thing.
I'm perfectly willing, but my brain isn't always as co-operative.
Apart from which, I don't want some phone ruling my life.

Obey.

Voila!
