Hi All, I have a Philips car stereo in for repair Model RC-248.
It has a cd stacker connected to it via a control cable.
Everything works eg radio tape etc, except when the cd button is pressed it
says NO CD.
The stacker works ok in another car so it is ok.I have checked the control
cable and the fly lead which connects into the mainboard of the head unit.
Also checked mainboard and all seems ok after resolderig the usual
dryjoints.
Has anyone seen this before or has any suggestions.
