I've bought at a yard sale an almost brand new PHILIPS DVD player, model
MX3550D...it looks like a very nice and expensive unit since it has a tuner and
surround sound built in it....only problem: CD tray is missing!, so, I'm
inquiering thru you guys if you happen to have one of those lying around or if
someone can direct me to where I can get one...I'd like to fix this thing and
see how good it actually is.
Your help much appreciated.
TIA

You will have to call the Philips parts department. If the try is
missing, there are probably a lot of small parts such as the bushings,
any wheels, and ect also missing. I would suggest you order the full
service manual, so you can determine all the necessary part numbers to
order. This may end up being more costly than you want to spend. Also,
if after you were to replace all these parts to have the tray, there is
no guarantee that there are more complicated faults in the machine.
