Hi there..

I have an older Philips 28CT8890 Television that has killed itself.
The Fault has occured in the Degauze PTC component.
It has virtually burnt itself up.
On its way out it took out the main Supply fuse, which i assume is due to
the Rectifier or someother component becoming short circuited due to the PTC
drawing more current.

What i would like is a Skematic on this set..
Or some pointers from people who have had plenty of experience with this
model.

Thanks

** The PTC is not connected to any components except the de-gauss coil -
nothing else will have failed.

Get a new one - put it in.
