Philips 107B computer monitor -- slow to focus

I've a Philips 107B computer monitor which takes a few seconds ( 5-10
s) for the picture to focus. This happens when I initially turn it
on, or after it's coming from the stand-by. I assume it's a problem
with a bad electrolytic cap in the supply or focus circuit somewhere.
Could someone please look up this model in the tips database before I
rip it open and start ESR checks ? Thanks!

It is very common that this problem can come from a slow warming CRT, or the
HV module (usually part of the flyback) is taking a long time to come up to
operation.

If you have an HV probe, you can monitor the focus voltage to see if it is
drifting slowly when starting up.
