I have been looking for these for awhile now.. i found a online database
of old amp schematics but you had to sign up with pay pal and the
process you have to go thru these days just to get a pay pal account
is insane.

I'd be more than happy to send a few bux via western union wire if
someone can scan and email or even snail mail them to me..

Thanks!

Richie

Contact Peavey directly..... they sell their schematics and manuals very
reasonably.
Also..... I don't understand your comments about PayPal..... the process of
signing up with PayPal is NOT a big deal..... no more than just giving your
credit card and optionally a bank account number.

heres the process i had to go thru

Step 1: Call your bank, use your ATM statement, or go to
your online bank account to find out what the exact amounts of these
two deposits are. You can also check your paper bank statement for
these amounts. They will be listed as deposits from PayPal.</td>

step2: and was asked for my checking account number, so i went and got
it and figured that would be it. I went to go varify my account and
they tell me they want to charge me $2, and then once they do that i
have to wait for my credit card statement to come in the mail, get a
number off of my statement next to the charge, go back to paypals
website and enter this number and then finally varify.

I dont see the need to make customers call there banks, then charge
people 2 dollars just so they can wait a month (like i had to, i placed
the order near the beginning of the month).. I would have just called my
credit card company and got it then and there but at the end of the pay
pal message it says the following.

"* PayPal strongly discourages users from calling their credit card
companies in order to obtain their PayPal Expanded Use Number before
receiving their monthly statements in the mail. If PayPal receives a
complaint from Visa, MasterCard, or your card issuer regarding your
account, your PayPal account may be permanently closed."

it used to be different signing up for paypal, now it is obviously a
big hassle to just get a basic account to buy a 9 dollar schematic from
the schematic connection. mabye im just crazy and thats not a ton of
hoops to jump thru..

:)

When did you try this..... I helped my son successfully set up a Pay Pal
account just 2 weeks ago and he didn't have to do any of that stuff.......
are you trying to set up a Buying and Selling account.... or just a Buying
account??? maybe that is the problem? ?

just a buying account.. i could post the entire series of emails if
you'd like to see them..

Part of it may of had to do with the fact that my dad used to have a
pay pal account, forgot his password and didn't put anything for a
reminder question (not very bright, i know:)).. We called up pay pal and
tried to have the account removed or reset but they refused to do it
(this was mabye 2 years ago) without a password.

So when i tried just recently to sign up for a pay pal account, i was
surprised to not get the error telling me that someone at my address
already had an account (like i got before).. But no metion of the
previous problems we had.. but all this authorizing crap was just too
much for me..
