So, I'm sitting here actually working, after a dry spell; the boss just
gave me a list of 25 parts that deed to be tooled up - I'm playing with
blocks for a living these days - modeling tooling in MDT6; and this
afternoon after I finished one and when I turned it in the boss says,
"Got any papers?" So I do this huge splif, and decide to take the afternoon
off, and start playing MAME bublbobl, and cursing the keyboard for being
backwards, and when I open the .ini file for all the keycodes, I notice,
JOYSTICK. A little wheel-turning, and ah-HA! Joystick!
So I'm about to ask Little Joe if he has a PC joystick, and I'm thinking,
"Well, I could look on ebay..." and ah-HA two! I'm an electronics tech!
I'll BUILD one!!!!!
So I go to look up one of the circuits, and I thought, what a golden
opportunity to run off at the keyboard!
Lessee... First Google search: "PC Joystick":
Ho hum. The first 5 of about 41,800 hits have "PC Joystick" (without
the quotes
) in the subject line.
I don't have the pots on hand, so I won't do a ... waitaminute - it
doesn't need pots. left, right, bubble, jump. I guess I could give
a running commentary. But now it's hardly a project.

Oh, well. Maybe we should talk about politics. I haven't seen that
discussed around here for awhile. ;-)
