Hi, I want to know how to create the Patterned ground shield for
inductor in ASITIC or in Virtuoso. I have designed inductor using
ASITIC, Do i need to create patterned ground shield manually in ASITIC
or after importing inductor in cadence and while doing the layout in
virtuoso.kindly elaborate your answer.
If anyone know about it kindly help me.
Thanks

I don't know about ASITIC, but you could always draw patterned ground
in the Virtuoso Layout Editor. Not really sure what you're asking.

Or alternatively you could investigate the Cadence "VPCD" (Virtuoso
Passive Component Designer), previously known as VPCM (Virtuoso
Passive Component Modeller). This includes an inductor synthesis tool which
can generate the pattern ground at the same time.

Andrew.
