Part for a VCR

I have a Toshiba VCR DX400 I have called my local deal looking for a part
(Loading Belt Part # SCQ 3.6) Does anyone know where I can go for hard to
find parts or parts for discontinued models.

Rick:
Just about any local repair shop that regularly repairs VCRs should have
this COMMON belt in stock or can order it in a timely fashion for you.
This is a common size belt used in a lot of different makes and models of
VCRs, tape decks and other equipment so call around with the generic PRB
part number SCQ 3.6 .....

money. I live in a small town and have called the local repair shops they
cant or won't help me

Do google search for studio sound electronics. They have just about
everything a diy needs to fix a vcr. They ship fast and are inexpensive
They also include pictures and instructions and technical assistance

technical assistance for a 2$ part is pretty amazing these days!!
