I found a bag of the abovementioned in my junkbox (and also a couple
of EFR-RSB40K2s, which are PCB mount versions) the other day, and
although I think they are intended for remote controls, I'm wondering
if I can use them for an ultrasonic rangefinding application.
From the part# I guess they are designed for 40.2kHz operation, and
other parts in the series suggest the receiver side is an electret
mic. But does anyone have a datasheet? The parts have Digi-Key part
numbers, but those are so long obsolete that Digi-Key doesn't have any
record of them.
