Hello,

This player worked fine, played all discs as it should - Then I
started getting the "R07" message and won't play any discs!

What does the R07 stand for? Is there a way I can fix it, without
opening the unit?

And maybe without touching it :))))
First try to clean the lens of the optical assembly.

The message is actually "H07" which means "Replace Spindle Motor"
which means take it in for servicing (groan...)

Thanks for the tip - The unit won't load the discs to begin with.

The player starts to load the disc like this:
0---- and then the R07 message appears, instead of "PLAY"

Will a lens cleaner work? If the player won't load the disc, how will
the cleaning disc work?
