Hi everyone,
I've got a Panasonic 5-disc stereo (SA-AK48) which slipped a couple of CDs
the other day. After opening it, removing the CDs and placing the little
plastic rings which separate them inside the changer back together it now
doesn't really want to work.
Mechanically it seems fine and everything is where it should be, but
whenever it's turned on it flashes 'CHANGE', then opens the tray and
displays 'TAKE OUT DISC', even though it's empty. Can't find the manual and
all I found online was a Russian version of a similar model, the translation
for that seems to say that message comes up sometimes if there's a power
failure (like when I had to disconnect the plug to stop it trying to close
the tray while the CDs were jamming it up). Apparently if I take the disc
out and turn it back on everything should be fine, not the case though.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks,
Simon
