PA susceptibility to ESD

The PA forms part of the radio's circuit and it is shielded. Somehow,
when 8kV or more ESD discharge applied to certain conductive area of
radio, the PA could get killed. Gate and source shorted.

Some radios required more attempts of ESD discharge to get the PA
killed. Perhaps the 8kV ESD discharge would not travel the same route
for every different ESD discharge.

The only thing that I can do is to minimize the exposure of external
conductive part of the radio. Apart from that, any other things that I
can do to improve the PA immunity towards ESD discharge? I was
wondering whether there is any component like ESD suppressor to curb
the ESD transient. Please help.
