P+/N+ junction

hello,

I was just wondering why does a P+/N+ junction create a zener diode as
opposed to a regular diode?
A P+/Nwell junction creates a regular diode as far as I know.

What's your point?

N+ as opposed to Nwell only lowers the breakdown voltage.
