Lots of speculation, but I don't recall any actual knowledge reported by
anyone. Nov 30, 2019 appears to be his last posts... Not in the
Australian Online Obituaries, so perhaps he is just ignoring us as too
stupid to get his "Mains Power Puzzle".

He was irascible, but amusing. The place is much quieter without him.

Perhaps I should drive over and bang on his door. Then his neighbour's door.

I posted asking on the aus.electronics group, no info from there.
Oh, I see you responded in that tread Clifford.
Please go ahead and ask around the neighborhood, they might have some
interesting stories.

It's 30-45 minutes drive across town, my car has no A/C, and we have a
heatwave. Oh, and I've never been to Phil's or met him in person. I only
have his address because he was dox'ed after a dispute 15 years ago. So
yeah I could, but I expect I'll her something through the grape vine
sooner or later. Bill Sloman might have a better angle on this.

The folk at Wagner Electronics (near his place) knew him pretty well. A
phone-call there might yield an answer.

A call to the police might prove useful, as well. Have them do a wellness check on him. If they can't find him, it would open a missing person's case. The Post Office is another source. See if he has filed a change of address.. Are his utility bills current? Did he close his account with his ISP, or did they dump him over to many complaints? I managed to get two ISPs to close a user account for an internet stalker, years ago. His real name was on the local Police blotter from people calling in complaints against him. He was banned from restaurants and retail businesses, because he acted a lot like Phil.

A quick note to Oz has determined Phil A. is alive and well,
but
likely disinclined to participate further.

With a post (wave) of his non-magical wond...

Maybe he switched his internet time for counseling time. Let's hope!

His counseling style was a little aggressive.

There was nowhere near enough wrong with him for him to need counseling, and even less chance that he'd put up with it if it were offered.

Amdx isn't exactly the best judge of who might need it either.
